Truck selection checklist
Use this page to prepare a build-specific enquiry for Kenya or Uganda. Published truck pages provide source-listed figures; the final vehicle specification and destination documents still need confirmation.
1. Define the work
Record the material or equipment carried, daily route, site access, road surface, expected duty cycle and destination country.
2. Check the completed vehicle
Ask for the final chassis and body drawing, gross weight, axle loads, payload and operating-system specifications. A crane's maximum lift, maximum reach and road payload are different figures.
3. Verify purchase terms
Request a written quotation that identifies the exact configuration, price basis, freight, delivery schedule, warranty scope, spare-parts arrangement and destination documentation. These terms are not assumed from a generic product page.
4. Review local requirements
Confirm steering side, registration and import requirements, axle-load rules and any operating permits with qualified local parties before shipment. Rules and charges can change.
